The British are OBSESSED with the possibility of fire in a building. Obsessed! There are fire drills, fire warnings, and fire doors (oh so many fire doors). I went to a training session in Sheffield yesterday, and prior to the start of the meeting, we had to do a little fire safety review. It is the only pizzeria to be given the James Beard Award; it consistently tops the list for best pizza in the States, and it even has a 2-3 hour wait to get a table.
