Now Boarding

so here is the deal. If you ever wanted to know, the 4th of July is a very dead time at the airport. Of course a skilled traveler such as myself has a keen sense for picking the one flight that gets delayed. That would be fine since usually when we go international jenny and I have 2-3 hour layovers and these delays make the time go fast. Luckily on this flight I was able to score a follow up flight that only left 55 minutes after this one lands. Did I mention we are delayed 40 minutes.

My chances of making the next flight are tied to the Man in the Tan Jacket. apparently, he is a VIP to United Airlines and he happens to be going to London too. This is Man In Tan:

Wish me luck!

(update)
As it turns out, Man In Tan is the man. We were shuttled across the tarmac on a bus to a door that we went into and then down a little ways to the gate. When we both got to the plane I said thanks. Then Man In Tan went upstairs to his executive suite seating and I headed back to 55E. I’m pretty sure they would have held the plane up either way…
