Squirrels
I SWEAR a squirrel was trying to get me to play with it today. No, I haven’t finally lost it, and I am not making this up. I was walking home on my usual route through St Pauls Cathedral park and I stopped because the velcro on my walking home shoes was catching my tights. So I lean against a tree for balance and this squirrel runs over, probably thinking I have food, and stops in front of me. I glared at it, so it would run away (you are not supposed to engage the squirrels in the park as they will ruin everything apparently). Well it did run away… about 2 feet, then it turned around and looked at me, and ran a few feet back. It did this a couple times… It reminded me of how Comet will run ahead, turn around, run back, run ahead… etc. Anyway, it made me kind of sad… I miss having 2 little creatures to play with….
