One of the side benefits of being pregnant in London is that everyone is supposed to give up their seat to you if you have a “Baby on Board” badge pinned to your clothes. I haven’t really felt the need to get one just yet, but now that I am aware of this perk, I will definitely be getting one.
While I don’t have one yet, I have seen several of them floating around, and interestingly, I have only ever seen women offer up their seats!!! I must be showing a lot because today, sans badge, I was give a seat (by a woman). All the men in the area just kind of averted their eyes. Coincidence? I will report as the months go by.

That’s so cool that you’re showing that much! Sounds like you don’t need the badge.
Hmmm. I can’t justify the baby on board sign, but maybe people would give up their seats if I wore a “Not pregnant, just fat” badge.
