So no ultrasound today… long story… but all is well and I heard the baby’s heartbeat! It was amazing, and of course I started to cry. The heart was beating at 160 bpm, so the old wives predict a girl…. time will tell!
All is well at work, too – I have been assigned some cool projects, and I am glad to be back with some of my friends from before. Also glad to be close to Borough Market – I have a date with work friends to go there for lunch tomorrow, and I am confident there will be Banoffee pie included (since I HAVE to gain weight!).

Don’t you try to run your black magic huju on that baby with your old wives’ tales. Sounds like someone is trying to cover up for the fact that our baby ALREADY has high blood pressure. Are you just pulling your chair up to a salt lick at work?
PS (and this is only for the baby to read) Don’t forget to bring me her kidneys!

Well boy or girl I am glad to hear all is going well thus far. I really do think it’s a boy though.
