Ultrasound #2

20 April 2009 0 views 2 Comments

I am pleased to announce that Baby Boy Sutton has a brain with all the parts, 2 eyes, a nose with 2 nostrils, lips, and a complete skull.

I, on the other hand, can’t tell time. I had my first (?) pregnancy related fit. I thought my appointment was at 10:20, so we got there at about 9:45am. 10:20 came and went and at about 10:45 I went up and politely asked how much longer it would be. They said “not long.” So I calmly went and sat back down. Then at 11, they still hadn’t seen me, and I was starting to get a little spazzy, so I went back up again and they said I would be the next one called in. Then at 11:20 , after 4 more people went in ahead of me, I went up again and kind of threw a small fit. At which point, they got me right in, and said they were sorry they couldn’t get me in before my appointment… which was at 11:20. Somehow I had decided it was at 10:20 and sat there fuming at everyone and everything, when in fact I should have been fuming at myself. Sigh.

So Baby Boy Sutton is wedged in the birth canal already… at least his head is. I can still feel him kicking around and waving his hands about, and he will probably come back up and out again before making his final descent in about 2 months (I guess somewhere around 7.5 months or so they wedge down there and stay put until they are born). I loved seeing his little face, and can’t wait til he is born.
