Michael and I had a perfect weekend. We slept in really late both days, and the weather was beyond beautiful every second. It was sunny and about 70 degrees the whole time. Michael took me to see the area around our new flat (long story and not worth telling why the one we originally decided on din’t work out). I began my official London Job Hunt today. Should be interesting in the current climate to see how readily I can find something. Therefore SGTL will be bringing you updates as Michael tries to find financial reward on the other side of the pond.

So Jennifer had her ultrasound today. After they manuvered around all of the cake and pastries in there we were able to determine that everyone inside was healthy as far as they can tell. By everyone, I mean the single baby inside. By the single baby inside I mean the little boy that will be here on or around August 20th.

As the moment approaches, I am just beside myself waiting for Michael to get himself here. It has been a long 6 weeks… longer for him than me, probably, but long nevertheless. In normal life, I would accept a sleep-off challenge from anyone – anytime – anywhere (except maybe Big Kathy), but yesterday, I tried to take a nap, and could only sleep for about an hour (I have been known to take 3 hour naps on the weekend lately).
