Stonehenge

Ah the mystical Stonehenge. What is it? Pagan playground? Crazy calendar? Super sundial? Or just a device for me to string together crappy alliteration so that I feel all those years of school served some actual purpose. Well either way, I can say I am here to report that it is still a mystery after the Suttons were there. Sadly due to graffiti you can’t get anywhere near the stones. That kind of sucks but you can still get close enough to realize that you have no idea how they got these monstrous stones up here.

I will point out that the procession path from the river is probably only that because it is where the stones were dragged along creating it. I doubt it was independently created. I don’t know why I feel this is important to say. Just roll with me.

Aerial view? Nope, close up of one of Stonehenge's many differenet lichen types

Another point of interest is the denial of the Druid theory. Aside from the fact that there were not enough Druids to do it, the reason it is considered implausible is the lack of trees. Research shows the area used to be covered by trees. Who knows? I was standing there and I can say the fact that the sun passes through the 12 arches to mark the calendar is no coincidence. But what is it then? My guess is art. It is a semi functional piece that is just art a tribute to some ancient deity.

Question. Can anyone get super powers from standing in front of it or must your mother have stood there while pregnant? Because if I can get super powers I am on my way NOW!

All this talk and not a single mention of Aliens or ET’s? I think it is a valid theory.

Sucks about the graffiti though. Maybe being able to stand in the center during high noon has some sort of Indiana Jones effect and imparts all the wisdom of the world to you.
