Bella Bands Rule

My belly has been really tired lately. It is hard to explain how it feels, but the closest I can come is by comparing it to when you have walked a really, really long way, and your legs are just worn out. They don’t ache or hurt or anything, they’re just tired. So my belly has been feeling like this, and it is hard because I want to be out walking around doing things, and my legs aren’t tired, my brain’s not tired, just my belly. So today I had the idea to try wearing my Bella Band again, which is a product I bought when I was first pregnant so I could wear non-maternity trousers. It is a wide band of material you wear over the closure or your jeans or trousers, and then you just wear them unbuttoned, and the band smooths out the material and holds them on in the right place. So today, I folded it in half and used it as a sort of sling to hold my belly up… so the folded band sits under my belly, and then slings up onto my lower back. It made such a huge difference!!! My belly did not get tired all day, although we only walked a mile or so. I am going to have to wear it every day I think!

Also, Michael and I both got haircuts – Michael got his standard one, and I added bangs.

Those never worked for me, but I didn’t try them like that! Clever.

Photos of the haircuts, please. I think you’ll like bangs. I love having them again. They look really cute when you pull your hair back.
