INVASION!!!
Being a lovely, perfect day, and since Michael is off playing football, I decided to walk over to our peaceful, relaxing, private garden to lay in the sun (yes, like a big beached whale) and do something productive (yes read my trashy magazine). I unlocked the gate and found it full of people walking around. I thought, “Wow, everyone had the same idea!” and I settled into a nice grassy patch. Then more and more people came. Lots of French people for some reason… or at least a lot of people speaking French. Actually yelling in French… at their noisy kids who were riding Razors around on the grass!!! Then two elderly ladies came and sat right next to me and started talking about Open Garden Squares Weekend. At this point it was so busy that I wasn’t enjoying myself anymore, so I walked back home to investigate what was going on. Apparently, this is the only weekend every year where you can visit 190 private gardens across England by paying 8 GBP. They picked a good weekend for it, because it is 70 degrees and sunny. And according to the website, Edwardes Square… our garden.. is one of the loveliest in London, so I am guessing we were especially targeted for visits. So long sunny day! Maybe I will walk over and try to see the fancy turkeys at Holland Park instead. Probably quieter there anyway!

I “Googled” Edwards Square Garden and got so many gardens that I had no idea which one it could be… More info please or at least pictures!
Thrown an “e” in there, too that should narrow it down…
