If anyone is interested, yu can check out the street view on Google Maps. For those of you who don’t know how to do it:
1. Go to Google Maps Street View

2. This is a previously recorded view of our street. You can go up and down Edwardes Square, or you can backup a little and walk down Kensington High Street, which is the main shopping street.
If you are super bored, here is an activity for you. See if you can find our garden (enclosed by a black iron gate), a …

As everyone knows, the new iPhones came out, which also means new software for the crew still rocking the first generation iPhone. Anyway if you upgrade your software and you are on a monthly or pay-as-you-go plan, it seems like everything went great until… you try and use the internet. Then you get this:
“Could not activate cellular data: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service.”
If anyone from the UK is having this problem then here’s how to fix it:
You will need to go to – Settings > General …

Baby Sutton has go to be the most active baby around town. Plus he is a night owl. He just loves to kick, punch, swirl, whirl, stretch, and bounce from about 2:30-5am every night. This has been going on for a long time, but due to high demand, he has added 2 extra performances a day. That’s right, you can now experience his wild antics at 10am and 5pm too! Each performance lasts about 2 hours. If he is feeling especially energetic, he sometimes likes to throw in a post …

Being a lovely, perfect day, and since Michael is off playing football, I decided to walk over to our peaceful, relaxing, private garden to lay in the sun (yes, like a big beached whale) and do something productive (yes read my trashy magazine). I unlocked the gate and found it full of people walking around. I thought, “Wow, everyone had the same idea!” and I settled into a nice grassy patch. Then more and more people came. Lots of French people for some reason… or at least a lot of …

My belly has been really tired lately. It is hard to explain how it feels, but the closest I can come is by comparing it to when you have walked a really, really long way, and your legs are just worn out. They don’t ache or hurt or anything, they’re just tired. So my belly has been feeling like this, and it is hard because I want to be out walking around doing things, and my legs aren’t tired, my brain’s not tired, just my belly. So today I had …

I went to the doctor today for a regular appointment. I thought it was a  midwife appointment, but apparently I was wrong!!! My midwife appointment is in 1-2 weeks and they have to refer me from the doctor’s office to the midwife’s office. What a lot of chasing around. Anyway, I got to hear Baby’s heartbeat, which was very strong, and the doctor felt around to see his positioning. He has “nestled” down between my pelvic bones although he is still floating. Basically, this means he is floating along, upside …

A few days ago I started having what are called Braxton Hicks contractions. They are perfectly normal and common, and they don’t hurt at all – they are just the way your uterus trains for the big event. It is weird, though, my belly gets super tight and hard, and then Baby wakes up and starts kicking. I’m sure it doesn’t feel very good to be squeezed from every direction. Or maybe he is kicking with glee… hard to say.
I have my next midwife appointment on Thursday afternoon, but I …

So with a day to spend in Antwerp, we tried to hit all of the big sites. We started off the day at the Grote Market which is the most colorful and lively part of this northern city.

The statue in the middle of the square is of Brabo, a legendary Roman soldier who freed the city from the giant Antigoon and then threw his severed hand into the river. Sounds like someone needs to be cut off from the fruity beer… Anyway, the statue spills right onto the cobbled square, …
