I was coming home from swimming this morning and I noticed a bunch of people lined up on our street – not a ton, just maybe 100 people all holding little British flags. They were all looking expectantly down the street. I noticed the other side of the street was blocked off and I got kind of excited because I thought there must be some sort of parade! In fact there was! I saw the fuzzy black hats of the Royal Guard marching toward us. That’s when I noticed there were about 10 of them, followed by about 20 army guys, and a small band playing right behind them. Lousy fake parade.
