Border Patrol

When we arrived in London from Phoenix, we had to go through Border Control, where they check your passport and make sure you are a valid visa holder. I am the visa holder for our family, and Michael has a sticker that shows he is my “visa dependent.” Apparently, Zev needs one of these stickers, too, because when we got to Border Control they wouldn’t admit him to the country! We had to sit in a special area for awhile while they got the supervisors involved, as they needed to determine if Zev was a threat to England. I asked at the American Embassy what needed to be done and they failed to mention this part, but I probably should have known better. They eventually let us all in and gave 6 months to get my act together and get the baby his proper documents. Good thing they didn’t get the crack cocaine hidden in his diaper lining. THAT would have been embarrassing for everyone.border_control1
