Zevry started eating some basic food yesterday. His weight gain continues to be slow, so the health visitor recommended we supplement his feeds with one formula feed a day, but I did a little research and found it would be better to start him on this banana/rice puree stuff. It doesn’t taste too bad, but it certainly wouldn’t make my top ten.
Michael asked if he could be the one to give him his feeds, since he is just getting the one batch per day, and I welcomed, nay relished in the idea of having the baby fed by someone other than me. Don’t get me wrong, I love feeding him, but it can be exhausting sometimes, and it will give me a chance to get a few things done!
So Michael had his first go at it tonight, as I type this. Michael’s comment on the process? “This is way harder than Assassin’s Creed (a video game).”
