100 Years From Today
100 years from today, I will be sitting under a virtual tree knitting socks with my laser guided needles and I will be reflecting on my life. I’ll think to myself, 100 years ago, I missed out on playing a video game, or watching a movie, or getting some sleep. But what I got in return was this precious time with my son. I’ll probably laugh when I recall how annoying it was to spend 30 minutes coaxing him to sleep, only to have him scream when his head hits the cot sheet. And I’ll probably wipe away a tear or two because I will long for the days when I held this tiny creature who feels safe in my arms. And I’m betting I will be glad I took the time to comfort him and love him. At least I really hope so because I am frickin tired and I better get my “moment” in the future.

I’m right there with you! Zev will be sleeping before you know it. Hang in there!
