The first couple of times we bathed Zevry he wasn’t too sure if he liked it, but it quickly grew into one of his favorite times of the day. We incorporated it into his evening pre-bed routine and I think it has always helped to relax him and signal to him that it is the end of the day. The other day, I thought it would be fun to try giving him a bath with only about 2 inches of water, so I could just lay him down in the water and he could sort of float on his own without any danger of going under (obviously, I still stay with him 100% of the time when he is in the water). He went bananas!!! He started splashing wildly – kicking, chortling with glee and just generally having a great time. We kept him up a little later than usual tonight because we went out to an amazingly good Indian Restaurant for dinner, so this video doesn’t demonstrate his normal energy level in the tub, but it gives you a pretty good idea.
