At 10 months and 3 weeks, Zevry took his first steps! Not sure if I should be glad or scared – a little of both perhaps. They were very, very shaky steps, but he did it! He was standing holding onto a low chair and I was about 3 feet away from him. He let go of the chair and stood by himself for about 20 seconds and then he got this big grin and he took about 3 steps toward me and then fell down into my lap. He was so proud of himself – laughed the whole way from standing to the fall down. I suppose life as I know it is now over, just as it dramatically changed when he became a great crawler.

You will love that Zev can walk. Of course things will change a bit because he can now reach for things that he couldn’t have in the past, but I think you will find this to be a welcomed change. They become SO fun once they start walking.
Congrats to Zev on being a stud, early walker.. quite impressive!
