Bath is world famous for it’s bath houses (obviously) that the Romans established way back in the day. Jen and I welcomed our first visitors today. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing friends passing through and taking them to Mildred’s but this week we welcomed our first flat guests and the first to utilize the guest bed.

My friend Lisa was visiting England and Denmark (and maybe a few other places) and we all met for dinner. Lisa’s boyfriend is in a Pink Floyd tribute band, so we  got to hear some interesting stories about their tour. We had a good time at dinner, and it was really good to see her!

So it has been 3 weeks since I began my job search and I can say that given the current conditions, it is going rather well. I have nothing to report yet, but one thing I have noticed is that since employers know that this is a tough market, they are now making you jump through more hoops.
