Start your 24 hour clock…

*this posting contains too much information, so don’t read it if you don’t want the gory details…
Midwife says I should have Baby in my arms in 24 hours. I am 3cm dilated, 50% effaced, and she can touch Baby’s head with her finger. I was so upset about an hour ago, with all the waiting and so forth that I wanted to cry but I am so happy now!!!

Stupid Lousy False Alarms

Around 4:30 or so I went for a walk to see if I could kick-start some contractions, and it worked! By a few minutes after 6 I was having a ton of cramps and some moderately painful contractions. Still nothing consistent or anything, but way more than I have ever had before. Then they started to get more and more intense, so I let Michael know (I told him there was no need to rush, but it seemed like there were some stirrings in my belly). He was just leaving …
